Building Parent Infrastructure for Africa
At HaliSpace, we're creating the missing parent infrastructure that African schools need. Just like roads connect cities and internet connects the world, we're building the digital pathways that connect every parent to their child's education.
Our Co-founders
HaliSpace was founded by Maua Osoro and Nicholas Yoder, who share a commitment to reimagining how parents and schools connect. Together, we're building parent infrastructure that empowers educators, supports families, and ensures every child's journey is seen and celebrated.

Maua Osoro
Co-founder
Born in Nairobi and shaped by life across four continents, Maua founded HaliSpace to build technology that speaks every parent's language and fits every community's reality. Her mission is simple but bold—make schools and families feel more connected, from Nairobi to Lagos, Dakar to Cape Town.

Nicholas Yoder
Co-founder
Born in Lesotho and raised in Ethiopia, Nicholas comes from a family of educators and has studied education extensively. With over 7 years as an educator and now a PhD candidate, he brings deep academic and practical experience to HaliSpace, ensuring every child receives the support they deserve.
